I have always been a bargain hunter, and when it was time to buy new suits for work, I was no different in my approach. I work as a banquet manager, so I am constantly setting rooms, rolling out buffets, organizing storages, etc. I refuse to spend tons of money on suits that will just get destroyed eventually, so I found these Salvatore Exte suits at a great price point. Reviews were all decent so I tried one.The material feels nice, not cheap. The cut is good, not too slim but not baggy or loose. The pants are nice in this set also, with the inner lining 3/4 length. All you have to do is have a seamster hem the legs and you are all set to go!So far I have gotten 2 bad suits, but returns are free so I shipped them back. Kind of a pain, but once you get a good one, the value is worth it.I bought this suit off a Lightning Deals thinking that I would receive a mid-grade constructed suit at best. I was wrong. Very good quality material and precise color/pattern. The trousers are cut raw so I took them to my tailor and he said that this is easily an $600-800. I commented to him that, "It's probably last years design" and he said that it doesn't matter. "Suits, even with simple patterns remain classic".Jacket: comfortable, breathes well, plenty of pockets and fit me right out of the package with no alterations. The stitching looks well put together and the jacket itself looks like it will last.Trousers: light but durable material, waist band has rubber tracking to prevent sliding (personal preference), and pockets are cut deep. I had to get the trousers brought in on the waist and legs finished.Me: 73" wingspan, 48" chest, typically 34x32" pants.I recommend this suit. It's a great deal at the $100'ish regular price.PROsI disagree with other posters saying it is average quality. I wear full suits 3 or 4 times a week and have an array of them. This suit feels great. The legs feel like average thickness and not too thin (I guess depends on the brand you buy regularly too). The measurements also fit spot-on. I love everything about the suit.CONsThe only CON i have, and it is mostly my fault, is that I failed to notice the "DARK GREY" description. The picture itself looks somewhat brown in color, so I expected a brown suit. It is sad to not have a brown suit, but it is what I bought nonetheless.Hard to beat the price and the quality appears to be good. I bought it to replace a polyester blend suit I have had for about 30 years. I'm fairly easy on suits - I have always had jobs that required me to wear a suit. Pants are short crotch -- like they are making all suits these days (except for the $1,200 and up brands). But the suit is comfortable, very warm in the winter -- wondering how it will be in the summer. Nice stripe in the material that this not too ostentatious. Dark blue can easily pass as a black. I guess the most outstanding thing about the suit is the price - hooked it on one of Amazon's Lightening Deals. Super buy for the money.Not sure what else you could want for $100. All I had to tailor was the hem on the legs and the sleeves. It fits perfect around the waist, chest and shoulders. No rolling across the back either. I'm 5' 9.5" and weigh 174 with a somewhat broad chest. The details are great inside and out. I was very impressed and will be ordering another one next month. This is perfect for the budget conscious man that still takes pride in his appearance.This suit easily rivals your $400 suits and just for $129.99. It is a deal. Ordered a size 50. My husband is a 52. A little tight on the pants, but he can get away with wearing it. We are keeping it as his weight fluctuates up and down. I also bought a 52 by this same maker and the fit was absolutely perfect. The material is quality material. You will need to take it to a tailor to get the hem on the pants as they come without the pants being hemmed, as is true with most suits. The feeling of the suit on my husband feels light and comfortable, while it looks like a heavy quality suit. Definitely will order all our suits from this maker. Love it!My husband is very tall and not as large. I ordered a 54L suit...my husband is 6'2 and weighs 130 and wide on top. The top fit perfectly, but the pants were made for a larger man around the waist. I wish I had the option to order the right size for the pants. The pants seem to be for a guy who has a 50 inch waist, my husband's waist is a 36. Also the pants need to be hemmed. So beware. Other than that the suit is beautiful and we don't mind getting it fixed.I bought two of these suits and they're phenomenal for the price. If you work as a restaurant manager like I do, these suits are a must. Slim fit is close fitting, but still very comfortable. The tailoring is mind blowing when you consider the price. The only possible strike against these is that they're not made out of wool, but that's it. I highly recommend buying at least one.
