The GF Piping Systems CPVC type 546 two-piece, ball valve has a CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) body for use with temperatures higher than those handled by PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and it has EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) O-rings for good resistance to weathering, ozone, UV, electricity, oils, water, steam, and some solvents.
